Roman Reigns and John Cena are all set to collide in a dream match at No Mercy. As a prelude to their big fight, the two men confronted one another during last week’s episode of RAW, and Cena clearly got the better of that exchange, making him seem like the clear favourite, leading into the match. This week’s exchange was a lot more even.

Dave Meltzer had an interesting take on the second Cena-Reigns verbal battle, and here is the transcription:
Meltzer maintained that he felt that Roman was much better this week. However, he joked about it being the longest a promoter has gone without turning a performer heel, despite the negative response that Reigns gets.

This week was nowhere close to the craziness of last week’s promo. At the same time, it was still entertaining. I can’t wait to see what next week brings. This feels like a big fight, and I’m in for the ride. The clash should be awe inspiring.
