For the uninitiated, Armored Core is one of FromSoftware’s most prolific and long-running franchises, with fifteen mainline games between 1997 and 2013. Since there was a long absence from this franchise, the Armored Core 6 reveal was a big surprise to many fans, including those who were longtime followers of the studio. While information about Armored Core 6 has been trickling out slowly, including details like its multiplayer mode or how it isn’t aiming to be a soulslike game, a presentation at the Taipei Game Show next month is scheduled for the game.

The Taipei Game Show is an annual gaming exhibition held in Taipei, Taiwan, which is focused on a variety of gaming genres and demographics. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware are also going to be a part of the event, with Armored Core 6 being listed on the website with an hour-long slot that will give information about the game. The publisher has even created a preload stream for the presentation, and producer Yasunori Ogura will be making an appearance during this showcase as well.
With an hour-long segment being dedicated to this game, players can expect some new footage about Armored Core 6’s gameplay to be shown off at this presentation. This presentation will be broadcasting on February 3 at 7 AM EST, with the YouTube preview allowing fans to notify them when the stream has gone live. Considering that Armored Core 6 was only revealed last month, this is a somewhat quick turnaround time for players to learn more about the latest FromSoftware game.
Fans have high expectations for Armored Core 6, especially with the track record of successful titles from the studio. With players not needing to know the previous Armored Core games to understand it, this game will likely be a lot of players’ first exposure to this long-running franchise.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon will be released in 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
