The Seminoles marching band had something different on its mind.
In fact, the band opened up its performance with “Survivor” by Beyonce’s former group, Destiny’s Child. It was a fitting song considering the Seminoles survived several upset attempts en route to a second consecutive perfect regular season.

But the Rose Bowl wasn’t the first time the Marching Chiefs had performed the tribute to Beyonce. They performed a similar routine at the half of FSU’s stunning comeback victory over Notre Dame in October.
