Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 offered a decent selection of maps, with Season 1 adding the fan favorite Shoot House. Modern Warfare 2 didn’t originally launch with Shipment either, as it got added as a part of the Season 1 Reloaded update on December 14. Currently, a Christmas-themed version of Shipment is available in The Naughty List playlist in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and it looks like two players decided to take this opportunity to play with a grenade.

A Reddit user named Unseen_DBA has shared a clip of a match of grenade hot potato on Shipment in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The player finds themselves lying next to a popular hiding spot in the middle of the map, as they seem to be waiting for the enemy to come out of the container. After waiting for a few seconds, Unseen_DBA throws a grenade inside it in the hopes of killing the opponent, only for the other user to throw it back at them.
What follows is a funny sequence of events in which both players are constantly throwing the grenade back at each other as the usual chaos of Shipment continues all around them. The opponent dies to another Modern Warfare 2 player amidst the chaos, with Unseen_DBA meeting a similar fate as soon as they stand up.
Many users appear to be surprised at no one else dying by simply running through the congested middle section of the map, while some are surprised by the grenade timer resetting after every throw. As explained by fans, throwing back a grenade resets its timer due to the Bomb Squad perk in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
It looks like this video has become immensely popular, with one user claiming that it’s their favorite video from Modern Warfare 2 and another wanting it to win an award for the best clip of 2022. Such sequences are probably only possible on small Call of Duty maps like Shipment due to their tiny size and fast-paced nature, so it’s not surprising to see that Activision didn’t take long to add it to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
