One of Warzone’s main innovations to the battle royale genre is the cash obtained through contracts and looting, which allows its players to use support in the form of killstreaks and self-revives during the heat of conflict. A core concept since the title’s beginnings, Call of Duty: Warzone’s impending gas circles can make for some incredibly tense firefights.

One Redditor by the name Busy_Fee_9593 has shared a hilarious clip to the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit showing the moment they turned the table on an enemy with a self-revive and some sharp reflexes. In the short video, the player is pushed into the final engagement by the gas, only to auto-mantle and go down in the gunfight. Their attacker decidedly moves behind them, taking shots and enjoying the moment of sure victory before a successful self-revive and immediate throwing knife gives the win to the original player that went down.
Finishing a Warzone match with a unique assassination on a downed enemy is part and parcel for those looking to win in style. However, in this humorous final circle, celebrating too early was a mistake. The throwing knife, which has since been praised by those commenting on the post, offers a lightning last-ditch effort for those able to hit their mark.
There are many instances of amusing clips that have come from Call of Duty: Warzone since its release thanks to seasonal updates that keep fans of the title deploying. As mid-seasonal Call of Duty: Vanguard content continues to be teased for players ahead of Rebirth Island changes, this will hopefully provide a playground for more of the intense gunfights that players can enjoy from the hectic smaller arena.
Two years since Call of Duty: Warzone’s release, Raven Software is continuing to ban thousands of cheaters across its platforms to make it a fair fight.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
