A vital reason for the positive response surrounding God of War Ragnarok is the lack of performance issues in the game. Many titles are excellent, but the overall experience is sometimes marred due to bugs. While the prevalence of technical bugs is lower in God of War Ragnarok, gamers have occasionally encountered random issues. For instance, one God of War Ragnarok glitch shows the underside of the game world, whereas another causes Kratos to walk around with a crate. Now, another player has found a funny glitch that causes a famous character to get stuck in a door.

Reddit user gttm1 uploaded an image on the God of War subreddit showing the humorous glitch. In the photo, Kratos is standing beside the door to Sindri’s house and is accompanied by a famous figure from God of War Ragnarok, Tyr. The duo apparently tried to open the door, but Tyr from God of War Ragnarok appears more enthusiastic than Kratos, as seen by his body position. Shockingly, Tyr’s body seems stuck in the door as his torso is invisible and he’s hanging a couple of feet above the ground.

After a closer look, it seems that Tyr’s body is phased into the wall surrounding the door and he’s floating in the air. Most God of War Ragnarok fans on Reddit found the glitch highly amusing and compared it to a scene from the American sitcom, The Office. Some people compared it to a scene where Oscar, a character from the TV show, hangs from the ceiling during a fire.
For those who don’t know, slight spoilers follow. Tyr is one of the central figures in the Norse era of the God of War series, as mentioned in the previous installment and God of War Ragnarok. It was believed that Odin had killed Tyr because he feared he might begin plotting with the giants and become a threat to him someday. But Kratos and Atreus discover that Tyr is alive and go looking for him in God of War Ragnarok.
God of War Ragnarok is available now on PS4 and PS5.
