Skyrim was indeed filled with bugs and glitches when it came out, but aside from all of the game-breaking issues present in the PS3 version, most of them often only resulted in funny clips. Users have been sharing videos of Skyrim glitches for years now and one such hilarious encounter, involving the infamous giants of Skyrim, has just been posted online.

The video has been posted by user Fe4R_Tteft on the subreddit for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. It features Tteft trying to kill a giant, while being in stealth, with a bow and arrow. The first arrow seemingly depletes over half of the giant’s HP, and the second shot initiates a special kill cam. At that moment, the giant is thrown into the air and starts spinning around at a ridiculously high speed. A few seconds later, the giant stabilizes and simply falls to the ground with a last-second grunt that adds to the hilarity of the situation.

Giants can be annoying to deal with early on, so fans in the comment section are pleased to see one being subjected to this glitch. One user makes references to the “Helicopter, Helicopter” meme from TikTok, while “It’s not a bug it’s a feature” and “It just works” are often found in the comment section of such videos.

The physics engine of Skyrim, and perhaps games developed by Bethesda Game Studios in general, frequently results in some hilarious clips. A similarly absurd video, featuring a giant riding a dragon in Skyrim, was also uploaded on the subreddit a couple of months ago. According to the one of the comments on the post, such sightings are surprisingly common in the world of Skyrim.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim celebrated its 10-year anniversary last year, and Bethesda released a special Skyrim Anniversary Edition in order to commemorate the occasion. It includes all previously released, as well as new, Creation Club DLC for the game, and owners of Skyrim Special Edition can choose to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition at a reduced price.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
